  PURPOSE:

The purpose for the bursary award is to let female single parents know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Education is a dream that can be accomplished.

  • Bursaries are funds designed to assist students who demonstrate financial need.
  • Students meet specific eligibility criteria and submit an application.

 
 
HOW TO APPLY FOR A BURSARY:

Application for financial aid options, such as scholarships, bursaries, or study grants:

  1. Bursary or other: check date for application deadline.
  2. Find application at the North Island College Foundation: www.nic.bc.ca.
  3. Complete and sign Application Form:
    • Include personal statement.
    • Attach letters of reference.
    • Return form to:
